Fintech solutions Xendit brings a world-class platform for individual business owners in the Philippines to settle payments quickly and securely.
Xendit’s platform handles payments for the sellers, allowing entrepreneurs to focus on fulfilling orders and growing their business. In addition, they don’t need to coordinate with each customer for payments thanks to real-time update functionalities on the Xendit dashboard. As a result, it’s straightforward to use for entrepreneurs or small businesses who are not tech-savvy.
Customers can make direct payments through several physical banks and e-wallets, including:
- Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
- UnionBank of the Philippines (UBP)
- Over-the-Counter via 7-Eleven and Cebuana Lhuillier
Sole proprietors, corporations, and partnerships can also process credit card payments.
Xendit is available on platforms such as Wix, Shopify, or WooCommerce. Sellers who rely on social media for business can generate payment links that customers can access. They also have access to their transaction history on a centralized dashboard to monitor sales and payments.
“The digital nature of transactions means payment methods need to adapt. We want to empower these rising contributors to the Philippine economy with a platform that handles payments for them while they focus on their business,” says Alyzza Acacio, Philippine SME Task Force Lead of Xendit Philippines.
Xendit offers up to PHP1.6 million worth of waived transaction fees for new sign-ups to welcome SMEs. In addition, the platform is also waiving PHP1 million in fees for individual sellers.
