Ubisoft announces many new Assassin’s Creed titles

Renowned game publishing company Ubisoft will be filling up the rest of the year and the next with Assassin’s Creed games.

The main game succeeding after Valhalla is entitled “Mirage,” which will take place in 9th-century Baghdad with an assassin named Basim as the main character, which made an appearance in the former title.

According to the company, this upcoming title will return to its action-adventure roots franchise, meaning less RPG-centric and more stealth and parkour gameplay that fans have always loved.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is expected to launch next year.

Besides this, Ubisoft also announced that the franchise’s mobile game is currently in the works. An open-world mobile game dubbed “Jade,” set in ancient China, where players can customize their assassin and gameplay similar to the originals.

There seems to be another mobile game for Netflix’s gaming service, but Ubisoft is yet to share the details. However, it’s for sure that there will be a live-action series on the streaming platform based on the game as well.

Ubisoft didn’t restrain itself from sharing other games yet to come in the following years. Among these under-development Assassin’s Creed games, codenamed “Red,” will follow after Mirage and is set in feudal-era Japan. Another is codenamed “Hexe,” which apparently seems to be about witches.

This may be a lot to take in. But for AC fans, it may just be a heaven’s gift they could look forward to in the future.
