Twitter, renowned for housing bite-sized content, announced a game-changing feature that allows users to post 4K resolution images on mobile.
Now testing on Android and iOS: when you Tweet a single image, how the image appears in the Tweet composer is how it will look on the timeline –– bigger and better. pic.twitter.com/izI5S9VRdX

The feature is still in its testing phase for both Android and iOS. However, select users can use the feature. Look for the option “high-quality image uploads” in the app’s Data Usage settings.
“With this test, we hope to learn if this new approach is better and what changes we need to make to provide a ‘what you see is what you get’ experience for twitters with images,” tweeted Chief Design Officer Dantley Davis .
It has been launched only to a small group. No details yet when it will officially release.
