The Philippine Pro Gaming League (PPGL) kicked off its PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile tournament with the PUBG Mobile Philippines National Championship (PPNC) for the first time!
The collaboration was thanks to Mineski Philippines and Globe, in cooperation with Tencent. The PPNC all-online tournament maiden run will have a prize pool of P430,000. The top four teams will represent the Philippines in the PUBG Mobile Club Open Fall Split 2020: SEA Wildcard, moving forward into the regional finals.
This marks first-ever in PPGL history to hold a tournament for one of the renowned mobile shooting games in the Philippines.
Registration has already been opened since August 3. Players out there are still encouraged to team up and participate in the game through this form.
Qualifying rounds will start from August 11 to 14, followed by racing towards the Top 16 from August 19-20, and the grand finals to be held on September 2 to 3.
The tournament will also have a special performance by OPM band Ben & Ben and appearances of PUBG Mobile streamers.
