K-pop songs that disappeared on Spotify since March 1 finally returned on the platform. This is after the licensing agreement issue with South Korean music company KakaoM was settled with a new signing.

“The music of Kakao Entertainment artists will be available on Spotify once again for their global fans,” ensured by a Spotify representative.

The new global licensing contract between Spotify and KakaoM was signed under an agreement that the lost K-pop songs will be brought back on the global Spotify database, including Spotify Korea.

“We remain committed to protecting the rights of artists, labels, and rights holders and to the growth of a stable creative ecosystem for the Korean music industry,” said KakaoM.

Now K-pop stans worldwide can once again enjoy listening to their favorite music groups and artists.
