PLDT recently launched a modernization program that enables customers to upgrade from the copper-based ADSL service to fiber that improves internet speeds for free in the next 18 months.

“Moving forward, we will grow our business by helping our customers – and the country – rebuild their lives and livelihoods with powerful connectivity like fiber, 4G, and now 5G, combined with innovative digital solutions,” said PLDT Chairman, President, and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan.

PLDT Home gave its Fibr customers free speed boost of at least 25 Mbps and double-the-data packages for fixed wireless subscribers. This is PLDT’s commitment to improve connectivity in the country, as it increased it capital expenditures to P70 billion for 2020 on top of the P260 billion total capex spent from 2015 to 2019 to continuously deliver internet quality services.
