Asia’s largest global sports media property, ONE Esports, completed the ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore Major presented by PGL, with over 1 million viewers watched Invictus Gaming beat Evil Geniuses for the Championship to conclude the first Major event of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit.

From March 27 to April 4 in Singapore, the Singapore Major was watched by Dota fans and esports enthusiasts worldwide, cumulatively reaching over 274 million views across all streaming platforms. 

Presented by esports tournament organizer PGL and organized in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the Singapore Major consisted of three stages held over 105 hours, making it the longest offline Major in the tournament’s history.

The Singapore Major was streamed across various platforms, including Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and Huya, and the ONE Esports official site.

Wild Card Stage Official Results (27 & 28 March 2021):

  • PSG.LGD, Vici Gaming, and Team Liquid advanced to the Group Stage, while Team Nigma, T1, and AS Monaco Gambit bowed out of the tournament.

Group Stage Official Results (29 & 30 March 2021):

  • After two intense days of nonstop action in the Group Stage, Thunder Predator, PSG.LGD, and Vici Gaming advanced to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs. They would meet the top teams from the first DPC season: Team Secret, Invictus Gaming, Fnatic,, and Evil Geniuses.
  • Quincy Crew, Team Liquid, Team Aster, and OB Esports x Neon qualified for the Lower Bracket of the Playoffs.

Playoffs Official Results (31 March – 3 April 2021):

  • Evil Geniuses became the first team to reach the Grand Final by defeating PSG.LGD.
  • Teams playing in the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final were Evil Geniuses, Invictus Gaming, and PSG.LGD.
  • OB Esports x Neon, Thunder Predator, and Team Secret were eliminated.

Finals (4 April 2021):

  • Lower Bracket Final: Invictus Gaming triumphs over PSG.LGD with a 2-1 score.
  • Grand Final: Invictus Gaming advanced into the Grand Final, making a comeback to emerge victorious with a 3-2 score against Evil Geniuses. As champion of the Singapore Major, the team won USD$200,000, 500 DPC points, and a guaranteed spot in this year’s TI. Runner-up Evil Geniuses won US$100,000 in prize money and 450 DPC points.
