Spotify announced that the music streaming platform finally removes the limit on the number of tracks a subscriber can have in their library — one of the highest requests from users since 2014.
The update applies to all types of subscribers, as users can now add more music to their heart’s content until their collection is complete.
Users won’t have to see a message saying, “Epic collection, my friend. There’s no more room in Your Library. To save more, you’ll need to remove some songs or albums” once users have reached the song capacity limit.
However, the update doesn’t affect the platform’s playlist track limit. By that, a single playlist remains to have a limit of 10,000 songs.
Subscriberswho still receive the limit message should see it disappear soon.
