Japanese video game firm Nintendo unveiled a new version of its best-selling console to date. This time, it features Nintendo’s mascot, Mario, to commemorate 35 years of Super Mario adventures.
“Along with the Nintendo Switch – Mario Red & Blue Edition system, we’re delighted to offer these new products that mark more than 35 years of Super Mario adventures,” Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
This new version of Switch Console features the iconic red and blue color scheme of the Italian plumber. The entire package comes with the console plus a carrying case and a screen protector.
CES 2021 promoted the upcoming game Super Mario 3D World + Browser’s Fury which will launch alongside the Mario Red & Blue Edition Switch Console on February 12.
This new console will be available through select retailers with an initial retail price of $299.99 (nearly P15,000).
