Netflix officially announced that it would feature 40 varying anime titles this year during Tokyo’s AnimeJapan 2021 Expo.
Among the much-anticipated anime series is the reality-inspired story of the African samurai in feudal-era Japan “Yasuke,” and comedy slice-of-life style about gangster-turned-domestic “The Way of the House Husband.”
There will also be new movies, the likes of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, and an adaptation of the manga Record of Ragnarok to go live on Netflix shortly.
From these said titles, Netflix brings a diversity of genres and styles in anime to cater to all Japanese animation fans and new audiences alike.
Netflix is yet to reveal the entire list, which is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
