Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) still has the crown as the leading local truck sales for the 20th straight year in 2019, accounting for 45% of the market.

The company sold 6,279 units of Category 3, 4 and 5 trucks which is about 45% of the total 14,049 brand-new trucks sold in 2019. Category 3 or light-duty truck sales dominated amounting 4,241 units sold last year. Category 4 or medium-duty truck segment sold about 1,566 units. Category 5 or heavy-duty truck segment sold about 472 units, placing IPC second.

IPC has 43 outlets complete with servicing facilities in the country to date.

IPC sells commercial vehicles such as the Travis, N-series, F-series and C and E series trucks. It also offers light commercial vehicles like the mu-X and D-MAX, as well as public utility vehicles.

In the 2019 report, IPC’s total vehicle sales reached 13,971 units, down 16.5% from 16,729 units in 2018.
