Globe remains steadfast in optimizing its network services by expanding its 4G coverage nationwide amid the growing demand.
Globe so far updated its network in all cities and municipalities in Metro Manila; 14 cities and towns in Rizal; 24 cities and towns in Bulacan; 13 areas in Cavite; and three towns in Laguna. About 8 cities in Cube shifted to LTE and Iloilo City, Bacolod City, the island of Boracay, and Davao City and Cagayan de Oro City in Mindanao.
Starting next month, Globe will be implementing its shift to 4G LTE in other areas of Cebu, Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, Pampanga, Batangas and Laguna.
Globe is also going full speed ahead with its migration program, eyes on Davao del Norte locations, Davao del Sur, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Pangasinan and many more.
“By upgrading our network, we have better assets to answer the increasing data traffic in 4G, make true our promise to elevate customer satisfaction and mobile experience, and at the same time lay the groundwork for the coming of 5G,” said Joel Agustin, Globe Senior Vice President for Program Delivery, Network Technical Group.
