Facebook announced that it is now kicking off its latest expression feature, Soundmojis, in its Messenger app.
This is a different spin to emojis. Soundmojis allows users to express themselves by sending short sound clips in the messenger chat. A roster of sounds like clapping, crickets, drum rolls, or even evil laughter will accompany its respective emoji. There will even be audio clips for famous artists and iconic TV shows included Soundmoji.
Wonder what Soundmojis is like? Go to your Messenger app, start a chat with a random friend or family, then tap the smiley face to open the emoji menu and tap on the loudspeaker button. From that section, you can check out and send your favorite Soundmojis to surprise your Facebook friends.
From checking out Messenger Lite, the said feature is not available there as of yet. There’s also no announcement if it’s going to be available there.
Facebook will release a whole Soundmoji library for every emojis available and will update them regularly.
