A new online first-person shooter game “Warface” that is free to play among military action-related game franchises landed on Switch without warning, after its first-ever PC launch in 2012, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018. The game was first seen among the lists in the Nintendo Switch’s Australian eShop.

“Warface” is an MMO first-person shooter developed by Blackwood Games and published by Mail.RU that offers multiple modes, a wide range of classes to choose from, and maps based on real-world locations, plus scenarios that include zombies in Chernobyl or robot armies on Mars. Put aliens in Pentagon, why don’t they.

While it is free to play, it derives revenue from optional microtransactions of upgrades or extras such as military equipment or unlocking various events.
