Valenzuela City moved its “No QR Code, No Entry’s” implementation to an earlier date as requested by the city’s contact tracers, which would take effect already on October 5 instead of November 16.

The city will implement this policy in enclosed establishments, which includes private and public ones in the city to speedily gather information of customers or visitors for contract tracing purposes amid the pandemic.

The system will now check people in malls, groceries, offices, among, others can utilize the city’s newly developed “ValTrace” app which would automatically submit their details to the establishments they are going.
