Ubisoft just announced its version of battle royale, Hyper Scape, is available as an Open Beta for all PC players worldwide!
Hyper Scape is a free-to-play urban battle royale first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal. It takes place in the distant future of 2054, where up to 100 Contenders went down on the virtual city of Neo-Arcadia to participate in action-packed and fast-paced matches for victory and crowned as the champion.
The Hyper Scape Open Beta introduces Crown Rush Solo, a 100-player free-for-all version of its primary Battle Royale mode alongside the formerly available 3-player squad mode Crown Rush Squad. It also features two new limited-time modes, namely, the Hack Runner Squad and Turbo Mode Squad.
Hyper Scape Open Beta will also consist of new features to Crowncast Twitch extension, including Battle Pass progression for viewers of Hyper Scape Twitch and for streamers to invite viewers into their squad.
Those who will participate in the Open Beta will have their progress and items carry over through future live phases and into the full launch on both PC and consoles.
The official launch of Hyper Scape Season One for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 will happen this summer.
