Being the first-ever telecom company to launch 5G for broadband in South East Asia, Globe continues moving forward with the future in mind by making its current LTE SIM cards 5G-ready.
This means that Globe and TM customers won’t need to pay any additional fees or change their SIM cards to enjoy the 5G network connection.
Subscribers must upgrade to a 5G-capable device. Globe offers a roster of 5G-ready devices that comes with a postpaid plan. Filipinos at home can get ahead on experiencing the most-awaited network technology in select places, namely; Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Valero Street in Makati, Rockwell Center, and Gen. Malvar in Ortigas.
Globe will also expand to more areas in the country and to Prepaid customers, which is said to be done before the year ends so that all Filipinos can enjoy faster connectivity as soon as possible.
The new 5G SIMs will replace the LTE SIMs available on all Globe stores, the online shop, and official dealers and resellers.
