The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recently launched its free online course on COVID-19 prevention in the workplace, urging the public to access the course through its TESDA Online Program (TOP).
Titled “Practicing COVID-19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace,” the course aims to educate the public in preventing and controlling COVID-19 infection by practicing personal safety in the workplace or while commuting.
“The course covers the COVID-19 signs and symptoms to look out for, the virus’s modes of transmission. It teaches safety protocols and self-protection practices and techniques to be observed, including those that are applicable in the workplace,” said TESDA Secretary Isidro Lapeña.
Those who completed the online course and got at least 80% in the summative test will receive a Certificate of Completion.
Aside from this new online course, TESDA’s TOP platform offers 68 other courses that are accessible through the TESDA App available for both Android and iOS platforms or through the TESDA website.
