The fans of the classic role-playing adventure franchise “Shin Megami Tensei” are in for a surprise, as Nintendo announced 2003’s “Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne” for an HD remaster in Spring 2021 and “Shin Megami Tensei V” confirmed for release in in the same year worldwide!

Though the “Shin Megami Tensei” franchise hasn’t debuted on Nintendo Switch as of yet, 2009’s “SMT: Strange Journey” and 2013’s “SMT IV” was made internationally available on Nintendo’s respective predecessor handhelds, both the DS and 3DS.

Likewise, the spin-off role-playing adventure series “Persona,” specifically, 2008 “Persona 4” and 2016 “Persona 5” that is popular among fans of the genre, has not debuted on Switch either.

While “SMT V” is still Switch exclusive, the “SMT III: Nocturne – HD Remaster” will be available for PlayStation 4 by developer-publisher Atlus.
