Those complaining about our Internet connectivity will now have an opportunity to do something about it by joining the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA).
The PhilSA will help in improving connectivity by building, launching, and operating a 100-kilogram satellite.
This small satellite will primarily gather data but it will also provide access to connectivity even in remote areas that telcos couldn’t reach.
There are five satellites built and launched so far, two of which are currently active: one in the International Space Station (ISS) and the other orbiting around Earth.
The PhilSA now offers 22 positions, including:
- Legal Assistant
- Supervising Administrative Officer
- Budget Officer
- Records Officer
- Administrative Officer
- Information Officer
- Senior Science Research Specialist
Those interested can apply until November 29. For more information, visit PhilSA’s official post on Facebook at https://m.facebook.com/Philippine.Space.Agency.PhilSA/.
