With providing a safer way for users when shopping online, PayMaya came up with the PayMaya Verified Sellers feature.
This new feature ensures that users would be protected from online scams by providing legitimate sellers. Through the PayMaya app, the feature also enables secure transactions for both buyers and sellers.
Sellers will only get the special stamp of approval by undergoing more layers of screening to double-check they are indeed legit online businesses and are on good standing. Customer-wise, users will know the sellers are legitimate when they see a badge beside the seller’s name.
Extended to the feature, sellers using PayMaya as their payment option can track their transaction history in real-time. This provides a way for users to check the transferred payments to their account and, in turn, avoid falling into scam buyers sending fake transaction receipt screenshots.
“Online sellers need all the support they can, and we are very excited to provide them with embedded features such as the first verified sellers’ mark for an e-wallet app, said Shailesh Baidwan,” said PayMaya President Shailesh Baidwan. “With PayMaya Verified Sellers, we aim to grow the number of online sellers and buyers as we promote trust within this ecosystem.”
PayMaya is a free app, available to download for Android or iOS mobile platforms.
