The Pasay City government will launch a QR-based contact tracing app for its over 4,000 employees this Monday.
Dubbed as the One Balikatan Contact Tracing App, City Administrator Dennis Acorda said the city government would officially roll out the app at the Pasay City Hall. There will be posters with QR codes in all offices within the City Hall to make it accessible to download on their phones.
“This is another step that we are undertaking as part of our overall COVID-19 response, particularly in the aspect of contact tracing. In this case, among our employees that are physically working here in City Hall as well as our attached offices and in the field,” said Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano.
The contract tracing app is among their latest addition to Pasay’s comprehensive contact tracing system that will back other strategies launched previously, such as the Pasay QR Code COVID-19 Tracer App used for commercial establishments in the city.
