Facebook’s messaging platform, Messenger, launches a new feature that allows users to bond online with friends and families by watching videos together.
Watch Together enables users to share videos with others in real-time. They can also replay these videos with friends or families that they have previously seen or upload on the platform. Facebook shared this latest feature is recommended for content creators who want to engage their community via Messenger video call.
Setting up a Watch Together can be done with these three steps:
- Start a Messenger video call or create a Messenger Room.
- Swipe up to access the menu and select Watch Together.
- Choose a video to watch from available or recommended selections.
Watch Together can accommodate a max of eight people on a Messenger video call and a maximum of 50 people in Rooms. Already available on both iOS and Android globally, one only needs to update the Messenger App to access this free feature.
