TechRadar found an entry in the Microsoft 365 product roadmap called “Word for Windows: Text Predictions” that is now in development, set to be released by next month.
This new feature allows users to type more efficiently, taking less time in editing and correcting technical errors straight from Microsoft Word.
The feature also learns and adapts to the user’s writing style using a machine learning model to make suggestions based on the text. Microsoft ensured that it doesn’t violate data and privacy policies.
“The content is not stored or seen by any human unless donated as part of the feedback mechanism,” the company said.
The feature can be switch on or off at will, so it’s entirely up to the user’s control.
