Legal solutions mobile app, called LexMeet, will be the first ever legal services app in the Philippines with an objective to bridge the gap between pinched clients and competent lawyers easily with a tap of a button and within affordable costs, anytime and anywhere.
Legal services is getting more credit online, but with the proliferation of fake attorneys in social media that victimizes clients gives it off in a bad spotlight, not to mention of it being an expensive and intimidating dilemma for Filipinos. According to the World Justice Project Report, approximately 80% of legal issues do not receive legal assistance. It’s a helpless case between getting a trustworthy lawyer to time-costly due process required to be made possible.
However, LexMeet envisions the real deal as a legal solutions platform that offers an ease of access to legal services. As of this year’s February 13, LexMeet’s latest data shows a total of 29,784 clients served by a pool of 452 lawyers solving a total number of 26,525 legal problems.
Through LexMeet, it creates legal tech products that allow clients and lawyers the ability to complete an entire legal case, from assessment to execution of judgment. Their three new products are grouped into Assist, Consult, and Everyday Law.
- ASSIST – This is where a client could determine if he/she really needs a lawyer or if he/she really has a case to file in court or not, this inquiry platform is for free.
- CONSULT- Clients can comfortably request the date and time of the online legal consultation with the lawyer via video chat consultation platform where they could directly ask questions and make clarifications as well as upload additional documents for review.
- EVERYDAY LAW- Provides legal information and knowledge through blogs/vlogs entirely for free. These platform provides opportunity for lawyers to reach a larger market and improve their individual standing in their careers.
