Lenovo launches their new smartphones, the  Lenovo Vibe S1, Vibe P1, and P1m. TechBeat.ph was able to get hold of the Vibe P1 and we would like to share our first impression about this great smartphone from Lenovo. One of the key feature that this smartphone boasts is its long battery life. But before we get into that, let us have a quick look at the Lenovo Vibe P1.

Design and Feel

VIBE P1 Screen

The new Lenovo Vibe P1 still has the premium unibody design which can be found in the previous Vibe models. It has an elegant feel when held at the paml of the hands.

 

VIBE P1 Front Camera

Front camera is located in the upper right corner of the handset.

 

VIBE P1 USB Port

The charging port, speakers and home button is located at the bottom part of the unit. This is quite unique for the Vibe P1 since most of the Vibe models used soft touch buttons instead of a home button.

 

VIBE P1 Headphone Jack

The headphone jack is located on top of the unit. A microphone is also located on top.

 

VIBE P1 Volume Buttons

Power/sleep and volume buttons is located at the right side of handset.

 

VIBE P1 SIM Slot

The SIM slot and Micro SD slot is located at the upper part of the back of the unit.

 

VIBE P1 SIM Tray

SIM tray should be pulled out to insert the simcards. It has two SIM slots available.

 

 

VIBE P1 Power Save Switch

This is a new switch for the Vibe series. The Vibe P1 has a switch for ultra power saving mode.

 

VIBE P1 Power Save On

Once the ultra power saving mode is one, you will be able to save a lot of power and still lets the users enjoy the basic functions of the phone such as calls, text, and can also add desired applications to be available of the power saving mode.

The Lenovo VIBE P1 is a combination of power in terms of battery life and security in a slim premium design. It’s 5000mAh battery provides users the longest time to stay online and get connected.

It has a quick charge function that allows up to 24W charging with over heat protection. The Lenovo VIBE P1 is also capable of charging other device via OTG connector that comes with the device.

The finger print scanner is also one of the key features that helps its users secure their activity on their VIBE P1 smartphone. The finger print scanner is embedded on the home button of the handset.
