Kaspersky just announced that it appointed Asia Pacific’s leading distributor of cloud solutions and services, rhipe, as its MSP (Managed Service Provider) distributor in Southeast Asia.

For context, rhipe was founded in 2003, providing licensing, business development, and knowledge services that support service providers, system integrators, and software vendors to accelerate cloud adoption by end customers. It expands its presence in SEA and brings new and innovative cloud products to existing partners and markets.

“Combining the extensive reach and technical expertise of rhipe with our solid reputation and quality enterprise solutions, we see this as a major step to help guard more businesses against cybercriminals,” said Yeo Siang Tiong, General Manager for Southeast Asia at Kaspersky.

“The addition of Kaspersky to the rhipe vendor portfolio helps us expand the security solutions we offer to our partners and their end customers,” said CEO of rhipe Dominic O’Hanlon.

Kaspersky’s deep threat intelligence and security expertise continue to transform into innovative security solutions and services worldwide to its clients and customers. So far, its IT security solutions have received several awards, with over 400 million users and 250K corporate clients acquiring the protection that’s effective and accessible.

Kaspersky has also joined other vendors that have jumped to the rhipe portfolio, such as Zoom, Access4, Runecast, Octopus Cloud, AvePoint, eset, Nerdio and usecure.
