Ikea partnered with Asus’ gaming brand, Republic of Gamers (ROG), to create furniture catered for casual and hardcore gamers alike. Over 30 products are already available in China and will launch worldwide by October 2021.
This furniture includes gaming chairs, desks, CPU stands, drawers, cabinets, pegboards, posters- basically almost everything to furnish and decorate one’s room to a gamer’s ideal.
Ikea also offers matching consultations on their official website for those who aren’t sure how to harmonize furniture fitting as a gaming station.
The furniture company sees marketability in this venture, as people’s gaming habits surged amid the demand for computers and laptops.
“With an ever-increasing number of gamers worldwide and a rapidly growing market, getting into gaming was a natural step for Ikea,” the company said in the announcement.
