Growsari, a Pinoy tech-enabled Business-to-Business (B2B) startup, announced that it finally expanded to Visayas and Mindanao to digitally empower 300k small physical stores.

The expansion in Visayas and Mindanao includes cities Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu, Davao, and General Santos. Small retail stores included in the expansion are neighborhood retail shops (sari-sari stores), roadside and market shops (carinderia), and pharmacies.

Growsari will use USD77.5 million raised from its round funding Series C to take in more store partners who can benefit from its platform. The startup estimates about 300,000 store partners by 2023.

Growsari has also added new services for store partners that they can access through the app, including telco credits, money remittance, bills payment, e-commerce, WiFi, and other e-services.

“We are doubling down on our capabilities to improve the overall customer experience and look to expand our ability to provide access to credit and basic financial services, which is a key pain point for MSMEs who have limited access,” says Growsari, chief executive and co-founder Reymund ‘ER’ Rollan.
