Globe is the only telecommunications company that has given free data to its broadband customers in the provinces of Albay, Catanduanes, and Camarines Sur, all of which were drastically affected by Typhoon Rolly.

Globe provided Globe At Home Postpaid users free 20GB of data for 15 days while their monthly bill will be reversed corresponding to the days when they experienced no connection. Globe Home Prepaid WiFi customers also received free 5GB of data for 3 days.

Likewise, Globe provided free unlimited calls and texts to Globe/TM for three days and IDD credits to all its prepaid customers in the said areas.

Globe’s Jeepney WiFi offered Libreng Tawag, Libreng Charging, and Libreng WiFi were deployed to different sites to provide free communications services to anyone, regardless of their telecom service provider.

Globe recognized the importance of communications during .these trying times. These are only part of Globe’s relief and recovery efforts to assist those most vulnerable and severely affected by the calamity.
