Globe’s efforts in expanding connectivity nationwide remained ongoing, with its primary target in Mindanao.
Globe already started constructing cell towers in Davao Oriental, Saranggani, South Cotabato, Bukidnon, and Sulu.
Specifically, the public can expect several cell towers to rise in Mati in Davao Oriental; Malapatan in Saranggani; Maray-Maray in Bukidnon; Polomolok in South Cotabato; and Bud Datu in Patikul, Sulu.
These cell tower projects are presently in differing progress. However, Globe believed that with the support from the LGUs and the communities, residents could expect better services in the coming weeks.
“We are optimistic that with these builds, we can bring more opportunities as connectivity ensures better communication, better service, and better promotion of small businesses in the communities,” said Joel Agustin, Globe SVP for Program Development-Network Technical Group.
Globe also plans to expand more projects in the Visayas and other parts of Luzon in hopes of sustaining the momentum of its network expansion amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
