As the Philippines shifts to distance learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Globe Telecom has bolstered its efforts to contribute to the education sector through its WiFi2Teach program in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd).

The program set up a donation of 1,000 Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi modems to equip select public school teachers with wireless Internet connectivity in a bid for seamless online teaching experience amid the pandemic.

The program also enables individuals who are willing to reach out to teachers by purchasing a Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi modem from Globe’s official store on Lazada LazMall at the comforts of their home.

For every purchase, P100 will be donated to fund the need for Internet connection of public school teachers. The campaign runs until September 15, 2020.
