Globe Telecom is purchasing assets of a United States-based cloud consulting group worth of $4 million that involved acquiring “substantially all of the assets” of Cascadeo Corp. and Cascadeo Partners to broaden its offerings for its business costumers.
According to Globe, the agreement is seen to close in the next few months which will be part of Globe Business’ strategy to accelerate the development of its ICT (information and communications technology) capabilities and solutions.
“The joint venture with Cascadeo will further strengthen our ability to invent, innovate, and experiment,” said Globe president and CEO Ernest Cu on Friday. “We will be leveraging on Cascadeo’s Cloud-Native Consulting and Managed Services capabilities to further solidify our credibility as a cloud solutions provider for enterprises and small and medium business customers who are ready to digitally transform.”
Cascadeo founded in 2006 and is among the few elite Amazon Web Services Premier Consulting Partners in North America and a managed services provider, in which the company specializes in automation, cloud-native platform as a service, data analytics, server-less infrastructure and programmatic security. The company is located in Seattle, Washington, maintains a Cloud Operations Center of Excellence in Manila, which supports their customers in the United States and the Philippines.
