Globe announced that there were several Internet connection cuts for Fiber subscribers due to the ravaging winds caused by Typhoon Ulysses. These fiber cuts were reported in selected areas in North Luzon, South Luzon, and one in the National Capital Region (NCR). However, the Globe network remains stable without any damage incurred.
Some areas are experiencing little to no signal due to the prolonged loss of commercial power in NCR. On the other hand, network services in Camarines Sur in SLZ and Pampanga in SLZ have been severely disrupted. Meanwhile, clean energy fuel cells and generations are used to power Globe’s cell sites despite these interruptions.
Globe ensured that network repairs for flooded areas would resume once the area can be accessed and safety is secured.
