Facebook app voice, video calling feature

Facebook seemed to be trying out voice and video calling directly to its main app, a feature that intends to skip switching between Facebook and Messenger apps.

According to Bloomberg, some users in several countries can make video and voice calls without leaving Facebook.

While the feature makes it valuable to save storage space in their phones, the company still recommends using Messenger for full-featured messaging, audio, and video call experience.

This is among the developments Facebook went through to integrate all Facebook apps and services, including WhatsApp, Portal, and Oculus, all of which offer voice and video calls.
