The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) survey reveals that those who availed of its digital certificates showed positive feedback.

Users specifically praised the components of digital certificates such as the efficient turnaround of application emails, accommodating service personnel who promptly handled inquiries and public assistance concerns, and easy-to-use application forms and user-friendly instructions.

“The use of digital certificates fast-tracks and secures online transactions for our telecommuting public and the government alike, in line with the President’s directives to cut red tape and reduce overregulation for faster delivery of services amid the public health emergency,” said DICT Secretary Gregorio B. Honasan II.

As the country undergoes adjustments amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the DICT has been promoting online transactions and offering its digital certificates free of charge for everyone who needs them.
