A new study from Deloitte bared the great majority (96%) of companies from the Asia Pacific (APAC) have conducted an audit to find opportunities for Industry 4.0, or also known as the digitalization of industries, as it is a necessity to survive due to the added pressure by the pandemic.

The evolving technology also compelled most consumers (83%) to value personalized experience, as they are willing to give their data to make it possible, resulting in a customized future. This means products and services made are based on a customer’s preference.

An instance of this is using virtual maps to find their way or be aware of the live traffic situations, empowering the platforms to gather data that can determine behavioral and physical patterns. Such transformation in businesses allowed lots of companies to know their consumers better than they know themselves.
